We had a last minute BBQ for Danes birthday! We had a blast! Thanks for all our friends you stopped by!Emma and Sheldon! Sheldon was much bigger than Emma but she has almost caught up to him! Cute little babies!Emma at 2 months old! she is 10lbs 10 oz and 23 inches long! She is in the 95th percent for height and 60% for weight! My days are spent looking at my beautiful baby, kissing her soft cheeks, holding her little body, smelling her sweet baby smell, napping with her in my arms, and just loving her more than I could have ever imagined. My days are spent half doing house work because a little baby wakes up when I am in the middle of it, trying to run errands and only making it to one store before she gets hungry and I hurry home to feed her, and listening to the sweet noises of my baby! My nights are spent sleeping a little, waking up with worry when she had a stuffy nose and a little cough, trying and failing after 2minutes to let her cry herself to sleep, staring at my baby even though I am so tired I can barely keep my eyes open, and rocking my baby to sleep. I would say I have a pretty good thing going on!! So this is how it is to be a mom.… Pretty AWESOME!

Labor Story...

My labor plan was to go into labor on my own, go natural and use no medication, no episiotomy, breast feed my baby within an hour ish after deliver and breast feed only, no bottles. Well not one thing went as I had planned, but everything eventually turned out fine with a perfectly healthy baby girl.

So at 41 weeks I had not gone into labor on my own so I was admitted to the hospital to be induced. I got there at noon and by 1430 the pitocin was running. I had not had one contraction before this and felt my first one at 1500. I was doing well handling the contractions and breathing through them. At 1630 the nurse checked me and I had not dilated or thinned anymore. The pitocin was turned up and the contractions started being really hard. One contraction would end and the next would start. I was having a hard time catching my breathe and could not relax. I started getting light headed and was not handling the contractions so I asked for an epidural. I was in so much pain the nurse asked if I wanted some IV pain medication since it may take awhile to get the epidural. I said yes, and received nubain, the next thing I know I was so dizzy and lightheaded and could not hold myself up on the birthing ball I was sitting on. Dane had to hold me up then help me into bed. While getting the epidural at about 1730 I could not hold my self up and could not tell what was going on. Dane was holding all my weight with his head and holding me upright, and trying to keep me still for the anesthesiologist. I only remember bits and pieces of the next 3 hours. I remember hearing my B/P was 60/30. I was trying to wake up enough to ask for narcan, but I couldn't. I heard my Midwife say something about epi, which I did not have to have, and asking about how much medication I had and ask about the half life. She broke my water and I kinda remember her saying it was meconium stained. I remember my mom and sister coming in, but I couldn't wake up to talk to them. Danes grandma came in sometime during all this. It was awful and I just kept thinking I don't want to delivery my baby while I am this loopy and out of it. I eventually became less loopy and could at least stay awake and talk. By 2030 I was dilated to a 10 and ready to begin pushing. I started pushing at about 2040. The last couple contractions I had the babies heart rate was not returning to normal so my midwife told me I had to get her out. The last contraction I had I pushed but she was not quite fitting so I had a second degree episiotomy. I delivered my sweet my baby girl at 2111. Since she had meconium in the amniotic fluid so the plan was to deliver her and try not to make her cry until she was over by the NICU nurses and respiratory. So my midwife set her on my stomach for a couple seconds while Dane cut the cord then she went over to the NICU staff. They suctioned her a few times and could not get her sats up above 60 even with her being bagged, so they took her to the NICU for further treatment. Dane was able to go over there after a few minutes to see what was going on. They suspected a Pneumothorax (air around the lungs from a hole in the lung) and were doing chest x-rays to try and figure out what was going on. Dane was back and forth between the NICU and my room. It was quite a stressful, emotional time. At about 1230 I was able to get up and go to the NICU to see our baby. I was still a little loopy from the Nubain so I actually did not cry to much until I saw her laying in the NICU with an IV, nasal canula and monitors all hooked up. We could not hold her, but we could touch her head and her little feet. They gave her a bottle while in the NICU to see if she could handle eating and keep her sats up, which she did, but it made it a little harder to breast feed her the first time. After we went to see her they told us she was going to be able to come back to us! At 0130 I finally got to hold my baby! It was wonderful and she is so beautiful! Dane and I are totally in love with the tiny little girl! We are thankful for the wonderful staff at Ogden Regional Medical Center and our awesome midwife Kathy. They made my birthing experience wonderful even though nothing went as planned!

Our baby girl was born May 31,2011 at 9:11 PM, weighing 6 lbs 13 oz, and 20 inches long.

Seeing my sweet baby for the first time! She is so beautiful!!!Holding our baby for the first time. She had to go to the NICU for about 4 hours, so we did not get to hold her until about 0130.Wide awake after her first bath!She likes to sleep with her arms up by her head just like her daddy!Her first manicure!

Laurence is getting used to having a baby around, he is really good with her and likes to sniff her and give her kissess!

So, I thought by now I would be holding my sweet baby girl in my arms, feeding and changing her, hearing her cry, all the things you do when you finally have the baby, BUT nope I am not. Instead I am STILL very very pregnant. I am scheduled to be induced Wednesday morning, I will be 41 weeks and one day. I am slowly slowly learning to take it easy and not mow the lawn or plant flowers, or whatever I want to do that I have to wait until Dane goes to work to do ( I may be a little stubborn and impatient!)... Dane says he won't feel bad for my anymore if my back hurts because I "Overdue it." So the last few days I really have not done much, but I am doing a great job of catching up on all the PBS documentaries, TV shows and movies! I am just counting down the days until I finally have this baby!

I have tree stumps for legs and chubby person fingers....
I am super emotional and cry or almost cry several times a day...
I go to the bathroom so so so so so so so much...
I get up so many times through the night to get a drink or go to the bathroom I think it would be easier to have a catheter and IV fluids hanging!....
Laurence thinks I grew this perch just for him to sit and lay on!...
I feel like I am about 90 years old...
I can't even describe how excited I am to meet our baby girl!...
I have my bags packed and am ready for Emma Amore Warner to make her grand appearance!

35 Weeks and our last mini Vacation before we are PARENTS (weird)!

We went to St George a couple of weekends ago for our last mini vacation before our little babe arrives! We went with our good friends Micheal and Ashley. We had a blast despite the rain, snow and wind pretty much the whole time we were there!

35 Weeks!!! I can't believe we get to meet our baby girl so soon! I am feeling pretty good, I am more tired and my feet and legs get so swollen I don't even recognize them, but other than that I am doing great and the baby looks great too! We did catch a couple nice bike rides in St George between the bad weather!

We went hiking in the snow, it was still very beautiful, just a little cold!

This week was rough, I got the stomach flu.........It was awful. It took so long to recover, I don't think I am fully recovered yet, I still feel a little weak. Laurence was so sweet all day, He just laid by me the whole day, no matter where I went he just followed. I shut him out of the bathroom when I was really sick and he went crazy barking and scratching the door trying to get in to see if I was ok. After a night and day of feeling really sick I told Dane "this is taking forever to get better" he laughed and said "oh man a whole day of feeling crappy I can't even imagine..." oh ya I forgot he was miserable for over 2months, Ha Ha wrong person to complain to! On a good note Dane is completely recovered and back to his goofy self! I sure missed him and Love him so much!!

What we have been up to...

A whole lot of NOTHING.... Dane has been having horrible sinus problems AGAIN:( So we have been sitting around the house, oh we do switch it up a bit, we move from the couch, to the computer chairs, to the bed, I know pretty exciting. My poor little husband has been miserable for 2 months now. He has surgery today at 3pm. A few days of recovery and we are hoping he is good as new and I can have my husband back, I sure do miss him.
As for the Pregnancy I am 27 weeks now!!! I am due in less than 3 months! I am feeling pretty good, with the occasional debilitating back pain, other than that I feel great! We love our little Emma already and can't wait to meet her! This is me at 25 weeks, we were heading to my favorite spot with the healing waters... Crystal Springs!This is the nursery! It's turning out very cute, I love it!!

Last week my belly really popped out! It was so exciting and it seemed to happen overnight! I am finally enjoying being pregnant, I am not sick and my back doesn't hurt so bad I can't walk. I am feeling pretty good. I think I am starting to like food a little bit. I do love Puffy Cheetos! I ate a whole big bag in less than a week....

I got a fetal heart monitor from amazon and it is amazing! I can listen to the babies heart beat when ever I want now!! I LOVE IT!!

We are so excited to have a little girl! I LOVE doing hair and buying cute pink clothes! I found the perfect crib bedding set today and of course it is PINK! I am almost 1/2 way to meeting my little baby! Its crazy, I can't even really imagine being a mom and caring for a sweet newborn. Dane is just awesome and has been very caring to me through all my ailments with the pregnancy so far. He is going to be an awesome DAD (weird... he's going to be a dad!)!!!

Dane and I were so excited about our doctors appointment tuesday, we thought we would be finding out the sex of our cute little baby. Nope, the baby would not cooperate. So we have to wait two more weeks.......... So this will remain on our fridge for a couple more weeks!

About 4 months ago I read this article in the paper about this man who was climbing in a cave in southern Utah. I remembered hearing about it on the news and was enjoying reading about what I thought was an going to be an amazing rescue. I was about 1/2 way done with the article when I realized the man didn't make it. Tears started rolling down my face as I looked at the pictures of his wife and now two children (She was pregnant when this happened). I thought about this women many times since then, being pregnant and all. This morning I read another article. This time about a cross country bike ride this womens brother, cousin and friend were doing to help others who have lost a spouse and are now single parents. So at the end of October I went a little insane and ran the Las Vegas ragnar at 9weeks of pregnany and I was the sickest I have been so far. It was still fun but way, way harder than I could have imagined.

My First run was 8.8miles. The first 6 miles went great, I felt great, I ran fast and thought I was in the clear with less than 3 miles left which were all downhill. Then I got way sick.... I struggled BAD, I had to walk part of it.. but I made it.NIGHT RUNNING!!!My second run was 3 miles, it was so fun and easy, I ran way fast and really enjoyed it!The truck says Katie+baby!!Oh ya these were just HUGE trantulas I had to run around and dodge during my last run... I never thought I would see this wonderful sign, I really sucked it up during my last run. It was 6 miles and I just had a hard time.AAAAAHHHHHHH running FAST to the finish line!So glad to be done! I rushed straight over the the pancakes as soon as I could breathe enought to eat.

Dane and I count our years together starting with the day of our first kiss! It was October 31, 2000 and we were in his best friends dad's truck. A weird coincidence 10 years later, that very truck we had our first kiss in was sitting in front of our house!

I would have said myth until yesterday, Now I definitely say FACT. Last night as I was leaving our house to go jogging I looked under our tree, where obviously a rainbow must have ended in the past couple of days, and I saw a pile of GOLD gaming tokens to various casinos in Elko and Wendover. WTF, Really? I have no idea. Dane believes it was the POKER FAIRY telling him he should play more poker. We called our family and friends to see if anyone would fess up to this weird act of charity. Nope, we still have no idea where they came from.

Oh how I love the end of August, for only one reason...The Box Elder County Fair! I love going to the parade, fair, and rodeo. I love seeing old friends and seeing where life has taken them! Summertime Fun!!!

I finally decided to put some pictures from our summer on here! We have had an awesome summer!!! It is going by way to fast but its been fun. We have just been hanging out with friends and family and going on a couple last minute trips and enjoying our house and yard!!!! We had a birthday party for Danes 27th B-day! All his high school friends came and we had so much fun! Its was fun to see all their cute kids!!

One of our last minute trips was to Montana for a family reunion thing. It was so beautiful, I told Dane we were moving there!!! On our way home we stopped in Yellowstone and hiked around there! It was so nice to get away and see natures beauty.

Wasatch Back

After running the Ragnar in Vegas I decided it was fun enough to do again, so I ran the Wasatch Back! I had so much fun!!! The race was from Logan to Park City. I ran three seprate times, first I ran 8 miles, then 8.5miles, then 4.8 miles. So of the 188 miles our team ran, I ran 21.5! I had such a great, supportive team! We became like a little family and helped each other through the pain, injuries, and tears. It was such an awesome experience! I can't wait for the Ragnar in Vegas in October!!!! Two steps down, 21.5 miles to go!!!!

During my second run, as you can see I ran really really fast so the picture turned out blurry!

For my second run I had to wear a headlamp and reflector vest, but the sun was still up so I also had to wear my sunglasses, and no one was able to stop to give me water so I had to run with a little water bottle. I felt like I had 10lbs of gear on! Oh yes and that is Dave my Bodyguard in the background, so don't mess with me!!!

Yep, we ran all through the night! We did get to sleep about 3 hours!

Owning a home comes with a lot of firsts! Hanging a light for the first time, installing a new tap and flooding the stairs, buying a tree. This week we bought our first TREE!!! We decided to call it our LOVE TREE! It is an autumn blaze maple! I hope it grows fast so we can enjoy it's shade this summer! Now our next task is figuring out how to turn on the sprinkling system!

Goblin Valley and Arches National Park

After being cooped up for a few months with Dane's sinus problems, we decided to get out of the house and go on a little camping trip! We went to Goblin Valley and Arches National park! We had so much fun seeing the beautiful sites and being together! I know I am a dork, but backbends all through Arches seemed appropraite, so thats what I did!!!!!!!!!!

We went on an 8 mile hike through Bell Canyon and Little Wild Horse Canyon! It was so awesome. I had never seen slot canyons before they are so cool!

After 5 years of marriage (ya we have already been married 5 years!!!) we still love each other!!! :)

YARD WORK DANGERS

So, last week I was doing some, what I thought was harmeless, yardwork. I guess I did not see any of the 3, yes 3 warnings on the garbage can and tried to push it with the lid open.....

So I remember falling, then i was standing up, then laying down, then standing again. I guess I yelled as I was falling so Dane heard me and looked out the window and saw me laying on the ground not moving. I was not knocked out long, because I was walking to the house by the time Dane got down the stairs to come get me. I hit my head behing my ear. I had a goose egg and a bruise instantly. I also found a couple more bruises on my leg later, and my muscles everywhere were sore. But I made the wise decision as a nurse not to go to the doctor, I had Dane check my pupils, and I made sure I did not get a headache, dizzy or nauseated! Ya I probably should have gone to the doc, but oh well I was and am ok! SCARY!!!! So I learned to read warning labels and DON'T PUSH THE GARBAGE CAN WITH THE LID OPEN!!!!

You can't really tell how bad it is, but you can see the bruise behind my ear!

Dane’s surgery today went well. There were no problems and he is doing fine. When he started waking up from the anesthesia he was quite goofy! His aide came to get me in the waiting room and told me all he has been doing was sitting up every couple of minutes and asking her “What do I have to do to get my wife in here?” she kept telling him he needed to lay down and relax. He kept doing this over and over until she came to get me. While we were back in recovery he said so many funny things…

Dane to the nurse: I forgot your name.
Nurse: It’s Rebecca
Dane: Do they call you nurse Rebecca?

*The nurse was giving us discharge instructions and was telling us to eat foods easy on the belly, like toast. Dane piped up and said pointing at me “She really good at making toast.” Thanks my love!!!

*His sat monitor kept alarming and he was so mad he kept sitting up and glaring at it. He alsokept asking what that damn thing was, and once when it woke him up he said “Why do I need that thing? I’m not lexy I don’t need it.” ( Lexy is our 2 year old neice!)
He also got very mad whenever the B/P cuff would go off, he tried to rip it off ever time!

*On the way home he just wanted a milkshake. We stopped in Kaysville and went through the drive-thru. After ordering we pulled up in line to get our shakes. Dane must have decided he did not want to wait. He took off his seatbelt, opened the door and was trying to get out before me and his grandma grabbed him and told him he needed to stay in the car!!!

*After this he stayed in the car, but he kept sitting up and he needed to lay down to reduce the bleeding. He was falling asleep and falling forward when I woke him and told him to lay down. He woke right up and said “Oh you wanted to see this.” Holding his I pod touch up to his grandma to show her some game he was playing!

He has been very funny all day! I am excited the surgery is over and hopefully in about a week he will be his old self and be pain free!!!

What we have been up to...

Well this last month has been rough. First off I turned 25! Crazy it is such a weird thing getting older! Second poor Dane has been in constant pain :( In december he deviated his septum during basketball, after about a month of really bad pain, he was pain free and back to his old self! Then at the start of March he started having sinus pain, it just got worse and worse, we finally went to see our family practice Doc. He suspected a sinus infection along with allergies. He sent him home on antibiotics and flonase. Nothing changed, the pain just kept getting worse. We tried another antibiotic next and a whole mixture of other things, Ibuprofen, tylenol, benedryl, sudafed, Mucinex, all with no improvement. We finally went to see a wonderful ENT, Dr. Stock. He did a CT scan that day and said Dane's right middle sinus was complete blocked off and the left was partially blocked. He recommended a treatment of steroids and surgery. The surgery will be on the 21st of this month. We both felt relieved with the news that this pain can be fixed. We had both been having nightmares that the Dr's would not listening to us, or believe us, or saying they couldn't do anything. So far with the steroid treatment there has been no change, we keep hoping it will help Dane make it through until the surgery. I feel so bad for my little hubby. I am a nurse and my job is to help people feel better, it is frustrating not being able to help the person I love the most. We are thankful for good Doc's who listen to their patients Me and Chrissy had a joint B-day party! It was so much fun! we put 58 candels on our cake!!! Our awesome friends came over even though it snowed 8 inches and the roads were aweful. We ate good food, talked, beer bonged, played dance dance and just PARTIED it up!!!!

"Fireside"

Sunday we had a "fireside" at our house. We just got a new firepit so we invite our friends over for a little dinner! Cassie shared a talk about Benjamin Franklin and his views on religion and Tony brought his guitar and sang for us. We had so much fun just sitting around the fire making up songs and talking!!!!

I love Grocery Shopping!

Today I went grocery shopping to Walgreens and saved 60% off my total bill!!! This is the best I have done using grocery smarts!!! I paid $20.01 for the following items:The gel I bought is usually $3.50 each, and the deodorant is usually $3.87 total $22.11. I got all the above for less than I usually spend on those items!!!!

After Walgreens I went to Smiths and saved 50%!!! It is so exciting!! I called Dane to tell him about my savings and he said its like winning the lottery!! HaHa! It is so fun to grocery shop now!!! If anyone is interested in Grocery smarts let me know!!!!

Family Vacation to Bear Lake

We finally went on a family vacation! We have not been on a vacation with my family since we have been married. We rented Carol (from work) 's Cabin. It was a blast. We snowmobiled, played games, ate real food ( no cereal or cheese and crackers!) the whole time, it was great. It was so fun to talk with Dillon, we sure missed him for two years! We all got along which i was suprised about, Me and Lex were the only ones who yelled the whole trip!!!! Do not wake me up at 2:00 AM when i am sick i might not be too happy! We all had such a fun time!!

We got a puppy!!! He is so cute and his name is Laurence Christian of Rigby! Dane found him on KSL wednesday morning and that day we drove to Rigby Idaho (about 3.5 hours each way) to get him. It was well worth the drive! I never thought we would be one of those crazy dog people who take their dog everywhere.... well we are, we took Laurence to a movie last night!! He was very good!

We took the puppy up to my parents so Gabe and Lex could meet him! They were so cute with him! Lex got a huge smile and just kept saying puppy, puppy! Gabe talked in a really high voice and he told us he was just telling the puppy somethin when he talked like that!

We had a great christmas this year, we got to see a bunch of our family and got some great gifts!

Every year Kayleen takes Gabe to the Dollar store and he gets to choose gifts for everyone! It is so funny to see what he picks! He gave Travis (Ronni' Boyfriend) these awesome hand glove thing, Ronni got a bag of body parts, we had a lot of fun with those! I got a cop set with a badge and dart gun.

Christmas Tree Hunting

Every year when we were growing up we went to Magic Mountain to get a Christmas tree and play in the snow, if there was any. We have not gone for four or five years because life gets so busy, people grow up, or whatever the reasons, but we went this year! It was so fun, it was perfect weather and we all got beautiful trees, even if mine is 11 feet tall and I'm not sure if it's going to fit into the living room!!! I went up to visit my family last week and spent some time playing with my neice and nephew. We went on an ADVENTURE! Gabe loves them! He led us all around and on all sorts of trails. It was a beautiful evening and I took a lot of cute pics of them!! I love going home to visit, it is so peaceful and relaxing!

Running, Halloween Party, and New baby

Well its been really busy the last few weeks. At the start of the month I went to Las Vegas with a bunch of girls from my work, to run a ragnar race! Ragnar has races all over the country. They are relay races, there are 12 people on a team and you all take turns running, each person runs three times varying in miles. I ran 12 miles all together. It was a blast! I slept about 3 hours in 3 days, my muscles were so sore I could hardly walk the next day, but I had so much fun! We stayed in Vegas for an extra day to celebrate and party!!!

Saturday was my moms anual Halloween party! Me and Dane were 80's workout people! Its always fun to see family and catch up with them!

Tuesday my sis in law had her baby, i was able to be in the delivery room. It was awesome! Her Epidural didn't work so she went natural, she did amazing. Baby Courtney Jo was born at 11:06, she was 6lbs and 18inches long. She has an inch of blonde hair and is so freakin cute!!!

Dane and I went up to see my family for a couple days. We went fishing one night with my dad Gabe and Lex. We didn't catch any fish but it was so fun and relaxing! The next day we took the kids up to Tony's Grove. It was a beautiful drive up Logan canyon, the leaves are already changing! It was beautiful there too! We had fun watching the kids throw rocks and sticks in the lake, and eating luch by the lake. What a great couple of days!

Well, I have been graduated a month now and I have been doing as many fun things as I can fit into a day, I've got to make the most of what I have left of summer! Last week I went tubing down Weber river with Dane and two of my good friends from nursing school, Audrey and Windy. It was so fun! Half way down to river Dane and I had a grass fight, fun right, NO the grass was full of bugs! We were throwing it and dane yelled "STOP its full of leaches" it turns out they were just little bugs but still gross, I freaked out jumped off the tube, slipped on a rock and broke my shoe. Last week we went on a cruise to the Caribbean! It was so awesome. We went with my little sis and our friend Chad. We stopped at Nassau Bahamas, St. Thomas, and Grand Turk. We all had a great time! WARNING PICTURE OVERLOAD! I couldnt figure out the slideshow thing so here is a ton of pics!

On Mother's Day my nephew took our family (including my 70+ year old grandma!!) on an adventure to the ycky forest. He had went there earlier in the week with someone in my fam and wanted to show everyone. He told me on the way there "It's pretty creepy". We ended up going on a very long adventure all over the place! It was fun with a three year old, with a good imagination, being the leader!

For those who do not know, I am a real farm girl! My whole fam (minus Dillon who is in Chile) went to check the cows on Sunday! We all crammed in the truck and rode down to see them with their baby calves. It was fun to see the cute babies and hang with my fam!

Death Valley National Park

Dane, his Uncle Darrell, and I went camping to Death Valley National Park over the weekend. This was our first camping trip together! Ya we have been married 3 1/2 years, but everytime we have planned to go camping something comes up like moving to Arizona, moving back to Utah, or finding new jobs, but we finally made it!!! The first three pictures are of a place called Scotty's Castle. It is this huge, very nice house in the middle of nowhere. It was way cool!
This is us freezing on our first camping night! When we got up in the morning, our water has froze and we had to use the stove to melt it so we could have breakfast!This is at Badwater Basin, which is the lowest point in the western hemisphere! It is 282 feet below sea level! We walked out on the salty walkway, and on the way back I got the urge to do some gymnastics! I did backhandspring at the lowest point in America!!!! This is at Ubehebe Crater, i thought the sign was funny! You can't tell from the pic but this crater was so big, I ran around it and it probably took 15 minutes! There is a whole group of these craters around this area.

My mom and dad have been so sneaky this year! First with the christmas trees and then on christmas eve they had santa come to their house and give gabe lex and ronni gifts. Ronni got a guitar and santa played us some christmas songs!!! It was so fun. Right before santa got there my parents gave us all a gift, we opened it and it was a paper with numbers on it. I thought we were going to have to do math and that would have been bad my brain is on a break! It turned out to be a music sheet for these pipe things my parents made. They were so fun to play, we practiced so we could play Dillon a concert the next day when we talked to him from Chile! After Santa left we played our annual bingo game. What a fun night!!!

Today my family went and got our christmas trees. My dad said he found a new spot to get them, but he did not know who's property they were on so we had to go really early and sneak up the mountain. So we did, and of the top of the hill (on my dad's property) there was a huge tree, and behind it was our little christmas trees in buckets!!!! We get to take them home and then this spring we are going to plant them on top of the mountain and in 5 ish years we will cut them down!!! This is our new family tradition!! I LOVE IT!!

Dane and I went on a Hike today. We were trying to go on the waterfall hike, but we missed a sign somewhere so we just follwed some differnt trails! It was still a great hike, but someday I am going to make it to the Waterfall one! There were almost no leaves on the trees, but it was still pretty with all the leaves covering the ground!
